Our Impeachment Personalities

Let us look back at some of the personalities involved in the Corona Impeachment trial whose lives we are honored to have been part of. Printsonalities is one with the Filipino nation in closing this chapter of our country’s history.

Very much like a Manny Pacquiao fight, the finale performance of Jessica Sanchez or a basketball finals game, the whole nation was at a standstill to witness the Senate’s final judgment on the impeachment case against Chief Justice Renato Corona. Here’s a rundown of the invitations and stationery that were entrusted only to Printsonalities to produce.

1. Pres. Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III (presidential inaugural invitations)

2. Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile (grandchildren’s wedding invitations)

3. Sen. Jose Pimentel “Jinggoy” Ejercito Estrada Jr. (birthday and party invitations)

4. Sen. Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan II (family’s Christmas cards and children’s wedding invitations)

5. Sen. Manuel “Lito” Lapid (son’s birthday invitation)

6. Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan (daughter’s baptismal invitation)

7. Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (25th wedding anniversary invitation and daughter Inah’s wedding invitation)

It was 44 long and arduous days of proceedings that drew the attention of all sectors of the public: the rich and the poor, the commons and the famous, the knowledgeable and the ignorant. We wish our nation well and healing and recuperation for the deposed Chief Justice. We look forward to moving on to a future of unity and good governance. To quote Sen. Chiz Escudero “let’s move on and move forward”.

Ms. Doris Magsaysay Ho’s Family-Hosted Dinner

It was a single loose card with black fonts, no designs, no extras, but its elegance and meekness portray the utmost Filipino hospitality – staunch, sincere and heartfelt.

The invitation we crafted for the Filipino hospitality dinner of hosted by Ms. Doris Magsaysay Ho and family last May 4, 2012, in honor of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Board of Governors.

A Family-Hosted Dinner in honor of the Asian Development Bank Board of Governors, May 3, 2012

Simultaneous with the 45th Asian Development Bank Annual Board Meeting of Governors that took place last May 2 to 5, 2012 here in Manila, nine prominent Filipino families were handpicked by the Department of Finance to host nine family-hosted dinners to showcase the culture and hospitality of the Filipino people. One of our most loyal clients, Ms. Doris Magsaysay Ho, who is a well-respected entrepreneur, socialite and philanthropist, was among those personalities selected.

Other families chosen include the family of Mr. Washington SyCip, Mr. and Mrs. Lance Gokongwei, Mr. and Mrs. Jaime Augusto Zobel, Ambassador and Mrs. Jesus Tambunting, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Philip Romualdez, Mr. and Mrs. Miguel O. Cojuangco, Mr. and Mrs. George Ty and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sy Jr.

Each host family opened their homes to about eight to nine heads of foreign delegation, including their spouses. Served with native Filipino dishes Ms. Doris Magsaysay Ho’s own home at Forbes Park, Makati City, the guests were able to experience the warmth of hospitality, a fundamental character embedded in every Filipino household.

Some of Ms. Doris Magsaysay Ho’s guests include delegates from Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Denmark, Georgia, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Nauru and Turkmenistan.
